Thai Massage is over 2,500 years old, and is an ancient Asian massage technique which has its origin in India.
It was brought to Thailand by Buddhist monks and nuns and along the way was influenced by Ayurveda and Chinese medicine.
A traditional Thai Massage can last for up to 3-4 hours, but here in Europe 1-2 hours has established itself as normal.
The traditional Thai Massage consists primarily of a range of different acupressure techniques along the sen (energy lines) and of a variety of stretching movements.
You lie on a soft mat on the floor in comfortable clothes. Whilst you simply enjoy the massage, the therapist works on the energy lines with hands, arms, legs and feet and reactivates the flow of energy throughout the body using a variety of pressure techniques and stretching exercises (passive yoga).
After a Thai Yoga Massage you will once again feel the energy flow through your whole body. The circulation is stimulated making the entire body feel alive and relaxed.
